| You are invited to the San Diego Science Alliance’s High Tech Fair Student Parent Night, Tuesday, Oct 21st at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, Bing Crosby Hall. The High Tech Fair invites San Diego STEM industries and educators to showcase discoveries and technologies to middle and high school students and their families.
At the High Tech Fair you can learn how medicines are made at Genentech or find out how to stop a plane like an engineer does at UTC Aerospace Systems. Over 50 exhibitors are expected from San Diego’s innovative industries in aerospace/engineering, biotech, clean energy, conservation, healthcare, robotics, and information/communication technology.
This year at the San Diego Science Alliance High Tech Fair students will have the opportunity to explore the 7 different strands represented by STEM industry exhibitors by engaging in a Digital Scavenger Hunt. Students will need to find the answers to 2-3 questions for each strand. Those who answer the most questions with the most accurate information will be placed in a random drawing for two mobile devices donated by Microsoft! Please access the Digital Scavenger Hunt information at sdsa.org/htf.
Please RSVP to attend at https://sdsa.wufoo.com/forms/2014-htf-studentparent-night-rsvp/ Donations are encouraged to support the Fair, but admission is free. For more information, email email@example.com
Please share this information with friends, colleagues, neighbors, your kids’ schools, in the breakroom at work, with scouting troops, school clubs, etc. All are welcome at this exciting STEM learning event! CLICK HERE for flyer.
